Frequently asked questions

How many eggs a day can I eat for gym?

Indian guidelines do not set a fixed number of eggs. Your plan counts eggs inside your daily protein, fat and calorie targets, so the number fits the rest of your food. If you have high cholesterol or a heart condition, ask your doctor first.

Whole egg or egg white for gym?

One boiled whole egg gives about 6.6 g protein and 67 kcal. One egg white gives about 3.6 g protein and 15 kcal (IFCT 2017). The yolk carries most of the fat and calories, and also many of the nutrients. Your plan uses whole eggs unless you choose otherwise.

Do I need protein powder?

No. The Dietary Guidelines for Indians 2024 advise against protein powders, and Groteins plans get protein from normal food: eggs, dal, rajma, chana, paneer, dahi and milk.

Is this plan for muscle gain or fat loss?

Both. Choose Muscle gain, Maintain or Fat loss in the form. Calories are worked out with the ICMR-NIN 2020 equation for Indians and your activity level, then set for your goal.

Can I get a workout plan too?

Yes. The Groteins Workout Plan Generator makes a weekly plan for home, dumbbells or gym, 15 to 60 minutes a day, for ₹29.

How much does the diet plan cost?

₹49 for one personalised 7-day plan, valid for 30 days, as a PDF on your email.
