Made for Indian food, not translated from it

Dietitians and clinics

Clients can check their own meals between visits, in the katori and roti portions you already talk about.

Gyms and fitness coaches

Members see the protein in dal, paneer, eggs and chicken in seconds, right on your site.

Food and health bloggers

Add it under a recipe or a diet post so readers can check the numbers themselves.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no fee and no limit on visitors. The only thing we ask is that you keep the small credit line under the calculator.

Will it slow down my website?

No. The calculator loads in its own frame and only when a visitor scrolls to it, so the rest of your page loads as before.

Does it work on WordPress, Blogger or Wix?

Yes. Paste the code into a Custom HTML block in WordPress, an HTML/JavaScript gadget or the HTML view in Blogger, or an Embed HTML element in Wix.

Where does the data come from?

From the Indian Food Composition Tables (IFCT 2017) published by ICMR-NIN, worked out for home portions like 1 katori and 1 medium roti. When we add or correct a dish, your widget gets it on its own.

Does the widget collect my visitors' details?

It never asks for a name, email or phone number. We count how many times it loads with Google Analytics, the same way we do on our own site.

Can I remove the Groteins name?

The Groteins logo inside the calculator is part of the calculator itself, so it always shows. The credit line under it is the one thing we ask you to keep; it is how other people find the calculator.

Can I get a different size?

The width adjusts to your page by itself. For a different height, change the height number in the code. For anything else, write to hello@groteins.com.
